Fitment covers the complete 1984-1996 Corvette C4 range, including both the base trim and the high-performance ZR1. It's worth noting that C4 front bumpers were produced in two distinct styles across 1984-1990 and 1991-1996, but the side skirt mounting position remains consistent across the whole run, so compatibility is broad regardless of which bumper style a given car has.

The three surface finishes serve different tastes: gloss black offers a high-shine, mirror-like effect for a refined, polished look; matte black provides a low-key, non-reflective texture that resists showing everyday dirt and light scuffs, suited to a more aggressive street look; and the carbon-fiber-textured finish, with its 3K twill weave pattern, leans into a competition-inspired aesthetic. The kit is developed from 3D scan data of the factory body, so the panel curvature aligns precisely with the door sill and wheel arch edges, producing a factory-integrated appearance once installed. Beyond styling, the skirts lower the visual stance along the car's sides and add a protective layer over the rocker panel area, helping shield it from stone chips and road debris that would otherwise damage the paint over time.

Installation uses the car's existing lower mounting points, requiring no additional drilling or bodywork modification - the process involves cleaning both sill areas, positioning the skirt against the factory mounting location, and securing it with the included bolts, checking for even fit on both sides before final tightening.

Professional installation typically takes 30 minutes to an hour. This kit is well suited to owners upgrading a C4's relatively plain factory side profile, restoring a classic car that has damaged or deteriorated original side trim, adding show-ready detail for meets and events, or building a complete body kit alongside a front lip and rear diffuser.
