Fitment covers the 1984-1996 C4 lineup, but buyers should note that C4 front bumpers were built in two distinct styles - an earlier 1984-1990 design and a later 1991-1996 design - with different mounting positions and contours between them, so confirming the correct model years before ordering matters more here than on most other fitments.

Because the lip is developed from 3D scan data of the genuine front bumper, its curvature matches the stock contour precisely; some versions use a three-piece left-center-right layout, allowing a single damaged section to be replaced individually rather than discarding the whole lip - a practical advantage given how often this part takes damage in daily use. Beyond styling, the lip also helps direct airflow into the radiator, supporting cooling efficiency at speed, while reducing the air that passes beneath the front of the car to lower front-axle lift and improve high-speed stability.

Installation uses the vehicle's existing mounting points as a direct factory-style replacement, without requiring complex modification. The process takes about two hours and is generally easier with two people working together given the size and low clearance of the part.
